Dr. Fishbaugh Jr:
Dr. Michael Fishbaugh is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. In December of that year, he opened his private optometry practice, Fishbaugh Family Eyecare, in St. Henry. He was also the primary optometrist at D.O.C. Optical in Lima from 1995-2008. Dr. Fishbaugh is licensed to treat eye disease, as well as perform comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings and evaluations, low vision evaluations, and vision therapy. He currently is the optometrist for over 15 area nursing homes, where he performs comprehensive eye examinations and evaluations for the residents on-site. In May 2008, Dr. Fishbaugh expanded his practice and opened an office in Lima, also known as Fishbaugh Family Eyecare. He is accepting patients in both the St. Henry and Lima offices.
Dr. Fishbaugh currently resides in St. Henry with his wife, Pam and three children, Zach, McKenzie, and Jaren. He enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and hunting, as well as watching his kids play sports.
Dr. Amy (Ziegenbusch) Bankey is a 2009 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Prior to that, she graduated from New Bremen High School and has both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Wright State University in Dayton. Dr. Bankey is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. She is licensed in primary care optometry, which includes routine eye exams, contact lens fittings and treating eye diseases. Dr. Bankey currently resides in Beavercreek with her husband, Nathaniel, and their daughter, Sara. During her free time, Dr. Bankey enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds. Dr. Bankey is excited to join Fishbaugh Family Eye care and return to her native area of Ohio. Please call either the St. Henry or Lima office to schedule an appointment with her today.
Dr. Andrea Dietz graduated from Coldwater High School and complete her undergraduate degree at Wright State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology magna cum laude. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in June 2011 with her Doctor of Optometry cum laude.
Dr. Dietz is affiliated with the Ohio Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Dr. Deitz is an InfantSEE provider where she examines infants free of charge between the ages six to twelve months. She is also involved in the Realeyes program by going into classrooms to teach children about the importance of a lifetime of comprehensive eye care. Dr. Dietz enjoys all aspects of optometry but has a special interest in pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses and ocular disease management.
Dr. Dietz joined Fishbaugh Family Eye Care in August 2013. She currently resides in New Bremen with her husband Jonathan, a Systems Administrator at Crown Equipment, along with their newborn son, Henry.
